Really?

Two quarters of shitty offensive calls...and a loss to the ACC....and we're cowards?

Murray was 20/29

The o-line and Shitty refs were the reason we lost

I wish we would use our offensive weapons in a way were we continued to do what works (ie run to the outside) and stop doing what doesn't work.

I wish we looked in shape.

Guys, who is truly surprised? I mean come on, past performance is the best predictor of future performance.. So, I agree with the original post "same old, same old"

But, nobody will want to play us late in the season. We will win 10 games again and be pissed that we can't get over the hurdle. Everyone will go on and on about our nice, super Christian coach, nobody will offer Bobo a job, etc. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's not that we lost a close one to a top 10 team that has everyone pissed. It's that we constantly lose to top teams and it's always because of idiotic mistakes we never seem to correct, ever!

Honestly, the SECCG was about as good as it got when it came to playing a really good team honestly. I can walk away from that game and say the better team won. We didn't make mental errors and we just got beat because they had an NFL offensive line with an NFL RB.

All these other ranked teams we lose to, we know we're better than them. We just constantly shoot ourselves in the foot and can never perform under the pressure to our best ability. We somehow keep the other team in the game when we could put our foot on the gas and put the game out of reach. When was the last time we actually throttled a good team where we dominated from start to finish and didn't let up? Was it Auburn in 2006?

This is a team sport. AM is a pocket passer who relies in his OL and WRs to do their job so he can do his. Johnny Football can have sub-par blocking because he is a scrambler. AM can't.

This was a disappointing loss but it played out pretty much like everyone expected; lots of points and bad defense. If you hang 35 points on a team and don't win, you can blame your D. Lots of blame to go around but it isn't like AM lost the game for us.

Well said, jackem.

There is no mystery here, we will lose 2 to 3 games every year, play a bowl in FLA on New Year's Day or worse. The UGA admin is PERFECTLY OK with that as there are fannies in the seats.

They will not take the risk of a lesser coach than richie, due to cash flow, and I understand that. I would probably be in their court if I were in their shoes.

That being said, adjust your expectations, no natty, upper second tier in the SEC and play in FLA on ~Jan 1 best case.

Four year starter at QB. One would expect him to be THE difference in this ball game. And...................................

Was there ever any doubt? He's a known quantity at this point - he is what he is. In the big games, the rest of the team will have to win it for him. In the rest of the games, he'll be good.

I've said it for the last two years. He is what he is. Good in the average games, but fades in the big ones.

Nice strawman. I never even so much as implied there was no reason to show up. When it comes to big games, Murray's just not the kind of guy who is going to put the team on his back and say "We're winning this whether you want to or not." He's kind of Trent Dilfer-ish: he'll play hard, but the team won't win *because* of him.
