Yah, hopefully Kirby learned from the Coley experiment after Chaney left and establishes a continuity plan every year. I feel confident we wouldn't have any issue on defense but our offense was terrible after Chaney left. My gut tells me Bob wants to settle into more of an analyst and QB coach as a career but who knows. I would guess if Monken leaves it's possible we have co-oc's.

yah, we dodged but I would expect more offers come up. OC's generally don't stay at one school very long so be interesting to see how much longer he is here. After hearing he doesn't like recruiting that much seems the next logical move would be an NFL coordinator position. Still as we saw w/ Matt Luke and coaches like Paul Johnson and Bob Stoops who still had good years left in him; some coaches are saving the cash they get from there contracts and walk away.

The general consensus is that Monken is very selective in his next step.

OC in the NFL "if" it is for a defensive HC who gives full autonomy.

His last 2 stops were railroaded by offensive HCs.
Either he didn't handle playcalling.
Or he handled playcalling with a gameplan he didn't exactly agree to.

He will get paid at UGA to allow him to be that selective when his next stop opens up.
