I just wanted one damn game where we capitalize and put some plays in the endzone. Cager going down is freaking gigantic.

Losing Cager really bums me the frick out. We were already running that clogged toilet offense that Coley is all about, but we are in a bad spot next week without Lawrence.

Why is that?
Because it's like you aren't looking at anything but what Fromm is doing. He was dropping dimes to start the game but as soon as our receivers started getting covered up, Fromm has to try to throw it perfectly so that only his guys have a shot at it. We aren't getting separation and the routes aren't good.

Why do you think Cager is our leading receiver? Miami fans are wondering why he looks like a stud with us. It's because he's got experience and knows what he's doing. Our young guys have a lot of promise in them but they are rough around the edges.

Fromm shouldn't need to make perfect throws every time he drops back. He should be able to trust his receivers to make catches, like Cager has.

I think Fromm is very similar to Aaron Murray with maybe a little higher football IQ and a little less arm talent. Don’t think he has a lot more NFL success than AM either.

You cannot convince me that Robertson is never open. Our WR room is not bottom 3 in the SEC like it looks right now. Great QBs make receivers.

Could you imagine how different this team looks with Cager and JJ? We just can’t have nice things.

He's had open receivers, and he hasn't gotten them the ball. He's had Robertson open and hasn't gotten him the ball. He had Jackson for a TD and overthrew him. He had Swift 10 yards in front of him wide open for a TD and forced it to a covered TE. This is who Fromm is. If Fromm just makes those two passes, we're up 21-0 at least and nobody is complaining much about the offense.

There are ways to scheme receivers open. LSU has proved that. Brady put on a clinic today.

Mecole is finding success. But he got so lucky with Reid in KC.

Wish he’d had stayed.

That’s a little disingenuous. It was a low snap and he was under heavy pressure

It's not that he isn't open. It's that he isn't open when Fromm looks at him during his progression. A QB can't see every player on the field at the exact same time. If Fromm had 5 seconds to throw the ball every time, he might be able to get through his progressions and then just look for an open man, and when you have enough time, someone gets open. But Fromm doesn't have that luxury on most plays, so he goes through his progressions and throws it to the one who (when he looks at them) is open or who has the best shot of coming down with it.

Great WRs make QBs. A pocket passing QB that has no one to throw to is ineffective. Again I ask, why do you think Fromm looks so good throwing to Cager compared to everyone else? Is it that Fromm has massive brain farts when he sees a number other than 15?

He's not even close when it comes to throwing the football. Murray is tops in SEC history in passing yards and TDs, and by a significant margin.

Fromm has been sacked 5 times all season. 3 in one game. He has as much time as any QB in the country.

Wish Ridley and Nauta stayed a 4th year. Neither have played a down in the NFL.

Low snap my arse. He handled it fine. He just never even checked down to see it. It should have been an easy pitch and catch. Swift was standing right in front of him, right in his throwing line of sight. There is always an excuse from you guys on every missed play like that. It's always someone else's fault.

This. Would have been better for them and for Georgia.

I didn’t say his stats were the same. They just are similar type players. Very cerebral, love the back shoulder throw, etc. Similar size and skill set. AM had the benefit of playing in Bobos offense.

At this point if we have Cager that’s great but you can’t count on his availability as he seems injury prone. If Fromm doesn’t nut up and find chemistry with other guys we have no shot at greatness
