Any truth to the chatter about Noah Thomas being a prima donna and refusing to block? Could be why he’s not seeing targets

Tennessee's last touchdown was way too wide open, but the other two long TD catches were just some ghost of Randy Moss type shite.

I feel similar. Just my opinion, but I feel like a big reason he was catching those over our guys was the height advantage. Brazzel is 6-5 compared to Bama’s receivers being shorter than our corners. They may have more speed than Tennessee but those deep balls that hang in the air are much more advantageous to bigger body receivers.

I haven't heard primma Donna, just that he may not be as physical as London or Bell. Or as comfortable being physical when blocking.

You can kind of see that on some of his targets. Not really fighting to get to the ball and letting the DB dictate position.

Yeah our coverage on those 2 long bombs we had a dude right there; I'd be MUCH more concerned if we had guys just totally lost looking like juwan briscoe out there.

Another thing that someone mentioned that I'd never thought about but I kinda subscribe to is the arc that aguilar has. His long balls were like rainbows that practically reached upper deck height. I have to think that as a DB it felt like the ball in the air for an eternity which can throw off your cover/jump timing.

I feel like we are forgetting the Ryan Williams catch from last year.

Same situation. DB in phase but gets out-atheleted when the ball is in the air by Williams.

I'm sure they will test our ball skills multiple times on deep balls.

Williams has struggles since then, I think he was so young that he didn't realize the pressure. I think it's caught up with him since.

Just went for 5 catches, 168 yards, and 2 touchdowns last Saturday.

Their other receiver has been pretty productive too...

Finally came out of his slump or poor coverage.

That was the point, he didn't realize the moment. Why many players have sophomore slumps.

Fair enough. Our guys just need to find a way to win.

Mike Rodak tweeted that Georgia fans will storm the field if Georgia wins. No fans who've enjoyed two recent natty's are going to do that when we win.

The only way I can see us storming the field and fricking up the hedges is if it's some sort of Dobnail Boot type play where we score a touchdown to win on the very last play of the game. A walkoff field goal probably wouldn't do the trick.

God I hope not. That would be embarrassing. Bama isn't the premier program in the SEC anymore. We are. We need to act like it.

I would be disappointed too. Let alone the fact that it would frick up the hedges.

Post-dynasty, one of the main flexes that Alabama fans cling to now is "fans have stormed the field in each of our last 11 road losses."

If our fans don't do it, it would be a little more salt in the wound.

Even last year, with the fairly epic comeback after spotting them 28 points, I fully expected to be able to beat them.
