It's absurd.

He moved on a hell of a long time before the injury. A guy who had a year like he had last year to suddenly NEVER scramble and consistently throw off his back foot for fear of taking hits is a guy who was not giving it his all. He was worried about getting drafted and UGA was nothing more than a vehicle to help him get there. He thought he could get by by doing just enough but, turns out, that wasn't true.

Remember, I think it was the Tenner game, when he actually scrambled, took a hit, got up and showed more fire than he had all season? Whether it was his decision or someone else's, that was a kid who had read enough bad press and realized his draft stock was plummeting. He finally said, frick it, I'm going to play. Suddenly, the interceptions stopped and he began running a lot more. Crazy how that works.

Really, my only opinions on this are: a) Carson didn't appear to be well liked by his peers at UGA. Maybe it was due to him being a "loner" and an introvert or maybe he had a ego. b) Carson, his ex GF, and the whole clan do strike me as a bunch of social media narcissist, but I could be wrong. Time will tell. c) nothing says low class more than one ex trashing another.
Per the linked article this is her and her "twin" sister.

Dude looks like a lady.

I'm 58 and have never seen a gay cowboy, much less anything else you describe and I don't want to. I would surmise one has to actually hunt for that kind of stuff to be exposed to it.

Have to agree with this. Ewers reportedly turned down $4m from another school and is now making substantially less in his first year in the NFL.
Get the money while you can and for fricks sake don’t blow it all.

I think the whole team knew this was his last year and he'd be entering the draft. The injury was the wrinkle. At that point, everyone was already planning on moving on, but now the NFL is off the table. The only logical thing to do is what he did and I would bet big money that the UGA coaches were on the same page with him. I don't think he abandoned the team, I don't think he was forced out due to locker room bullshite, I think it was a shite situation with the injury and making a good business decision for all involved.

That's all theory and fan fiction

Pretty sure we can look at stats and use our eyeballs to know Bowers/Ladd are better receivers and likely inflated Becks numbers.

Replace Bowers/Ladd with any other receiver and 100% there are more drops and incompletions. No debate

Agreed. So in the NFL, when he's throwing to NFL receivers, there wouldn't be the drops and incompletions that we saw this year without that NFL starting talent that he would have on the pro level.

They were drafted low and are not projected starters on their teams.
