What's scary though is at times the NYT makes the NYP look like a conservative news outlet.
Spot on about the article being based on nothing...plus what were they expected to do--start arresting and kicking out 100s of students after they're already admitted into the stadium? Can you imagine what that would have looked like? It would have absolutely ruined the event and still made national news but in a much more negative way.

Makes about as much sense as no fans in a big arse stadium at the Braves game. But sports bars at the battery have a thousand people crammed in. But dont let them in the big arse outdoor stadium.

Rovell and that human embodiment of a turd Dan Wolken don't really get me fired up because they aren't credible. Was a bit disappointed in Emerson's tweets and messages. It wasn't overtly critical but it's one of the very rare occasions he posted something that I disagreed with. Which is fine but my eyes about rolled out of my damn skull with this stuff.
