What are your predictions for Blaylock in 2020 coming off an ACL, being a possession receiver, and the recruiting class we bring in?

I'm curious what you think if Blaylock in 2020.

I predict him being a possession receiver in 2020. I hope he is more than that. I hope every eligible receiver on the field is a big play guy.

I understand that.

What does a possession receiver in 2020 bring to this team (catches, yards, touchdowns)?

That was your first mistake.

Blaylock in high school was a playmaker but at this level, so far, he looks like a possession receiver (whatever that mean).

His injury may slow him down this year but he'll be a play maker later on.

I'm higher on the ypc.
But I figure about the same thing.

33 catches for 462 (14ypc) and 6 TDs.

The kid is clutch, though.
Of his 18 catches in 2019, he had 17 1st downs or touch downs. The stats don't do justice to what type of a playmaker he is (without 1st downs, no one gets more touches but the special teams)

I just cut and pasted Michael Bennett's senior year stats. = Possession receiver.

While Blaylock seems more like a possession WR, his Georgia stats indicate otherwise. He is averaging over 17ypc which is even more than Pickens.

Hes been open deep down the center of the field more than any other UGA receiver in 2019.

I think he can hit on a lot of those with a downfield QB in 2020

Chainsaw,

That's a great number. But low sample size.

My opinion on the subject is one of eye test and less of stats.

My opinion on the subject is that a player who converts a 1st down or TD on on 95% of his receptions is an important piece of the offense. I dont care if it takes the title possession receiver or not. Hes doing to work to make the offense go.
