I think it's safe to say you can add bammers early guys to as we will face them in the ATL, imo

LSU - 2 OL, 2 CB, OLB, RB for LSU... all of which were key contributors other than Key *this year* (pun not intended... happy accident). Key obviously was a high quality athlete and likely would have returned to a significant role in 2018.

This is probably the most significant for us... Not really sure what to expect out of LSU next year... game is on the road and that's a tough place to steal a win, but replacing Offensive Coordinator and some pretty critical starters on both sides of the ball certainly takes a lot of teeth out of that matchup.

Florida - DT, WR, K - would like to see this paired up with what they lost to graduation as well. At this point, more or less, all of the Will Muschamp defensive talent has cycled out... there are some talented kids left on the roster, but nowhere near what they were even 3 years ago. Mullen has his hands full... he's going to have to invent an offense on a team that has more or less been devoid of it for 2-3 years, and won't have the defense to rely on.

Tennessee - CB, RB, DT - Strange departures other than Kelly... don't think it will dramatically change anything for us, though would anticipate improvement defensively even in year 1. Fortunately, don't believe they have the talent at QB or RB right now to be a threat in year 1 or 2 so long as we show up and handle our business.

Auburn - CB, OLB, 2 RB... Only one of those RBs was a factor this year, but all 3 of those losses are significant. Not sure Auburn has a RB on the roster that can shoulder the Kerryon load, so their offensive identity is going to have to change in all likelihood. Playing them late, at least we'll know what it looks like. They'll plug/play just fine in Holland's spot, but dude was a monster this year... unlikely to be 100% equivalent.

South Carolina - TE - That's normally not a position that you think hurts a ton, but Hurst was *really* good. Also smart of him to go simply due to age. Curious what else they lost to graduation, but playing them early in the year, with Bentley in year 3 in Columbia, this may be one of the low key more challenging games on the schedule. Replacing Roper as OC with B-Mac... even without knowing how BMac will do, may be addition by subtraction.

Auburn losses a ton of O lineman as well. I really like our schedule next season if we sneak out of Williams Brice with a win

So 2 quality DBs, another good DL, and a solid TE... those are not insignificant (Powell was the better of those 2 RBs IIRC, but neither game changers). Couple that with having to revamp their entire kicking game P and K for 2018. Mullen really does have his hands full.

If we beat USCe and LSU then we’ll be in a very good position for another title run. One of UF or UT will be a challenge next year though, imo.

Good summary. There are a lot of playmakers on that list.

Florida is going to be in serious trouble next year from a talent standpoint - wouldn't be surprised if we crush them again in Jacksonville.

I like our chances against LSU and Auburn (being at home). Agree with a lot of you that the South Carolina game is going to be a real ball buster being that early in the season.

I hope Kirby talks with sec office prior to that game to develop an understanding that it is a penalty to blare sandstorm after the ref steps off the ball and the offense is lining up.

That would be an awesome travel game if their fans weren’t so shitty to uga fans. I have lots of friends there too that i’d like to see.

Yeah. I have family in Columbia... easy place to stay, but legitimately an awful experience as a visiting fan unless you're intermixed with Gamecock fans.
