I spent a couple of hours in the Letterman’s Club today in the East end zone of the stadium. My wife’s cousin was a trainer on the 1980 Nat’l Championship team. He passed away this week from lung cancer and the reception after the funeral was held at the LC. Obviously the circumstances were bad, but it was a cool experience. That whole 1980 group is very close.

My cousin’s boyfriend was a recent player.

It’s cool seeing the pictures and stuff in there, but TBH it’s a bunch of backup fullbacks and their families in there on game day.

That’s funny! I saw somebody from my high school in the 83 and 84 team pictures, and he was a walk on, back up fullback ??

Depends on the game. Letterman’s BBQ in the cemetery is always a good time and brings a good crowd. For bigger games you’ll usually see some bigger names in there. But it’s not a cocktail lounge so it’s going to be more guys bringing their families in there to eat food, catch up with friends, and watch some games before heading into the stadium.
