I think best case is to just wait for Israel to drop a nuke on Iran now because you are right that this will be an ongoing cluster frick within the strait due to, what may end up being a top 5 worst decision by a sitting president.

It's kind of insane how much power Iran has now due to the initial attack thanks to the strait. I wonder why they have never decided to frick with closing the strait before. Maybe they have and I'm just not aware.

But it sucks that trump has fumbled this mandate so much. We are basically back in post COVID environment in terms of inflation due to his decision on tariffs and this stupid arse Iran shite. If he had just done nothing we would be sitting pretty. The ego and wanting to leave a legacy (plus not wanting to put in the work to focus on domestic issues) led him to make an all.time gaff. Surrounding himself with yes men also didn't help.

No worries though, trump came out this weekend and said he will making the greatest golf course ever seen in the DC area. So Donald is on top of it.

Meanwhile the rubber band of the Republican mandate is loose and heading left towards socialism.
