Hlyes, trump tried to override the legislature and add more funding than Congress approved. Massie didn't like that. He was pro border wall and anti immigration though. He was anti executive overreach

This is my plan. But the man keeps himself in peak physical condition at 80, stays very active with a healthy diet. So I have to keep working. Sigh.

Boomers don’t have a “blind spot” for Israel. They have a memory.
They remember what the world looked like when Jews had nowhere to go. They remember the Cold War. They remember Munich. They remember airline hijackings, suicide bombings, intifadas, and the ugly reality that Israel has been surrounded by people and regimes openly committed to its destruction since the day it was born.
The real blind spot belongs to the people who think history started ten minutes ago because they watched a TikTok with sad music under it.
It is incredibly naive to pretend Israel exists in a normal neighborhood with normal political disputes. It does not. It exists in a region where weakness is treated as an invitation, where ceasefires are often used as reload breaks, and where Western moral vocabulary is routinely weaponized by people who would never apply those same standards to themselves.
You can criticize Israel. Serious people do. But acting like older Americans support Israel because they are brainwashed or morally defective is lazy. A lot of them support Israel because they understand something younger people often don’t:
Civilization is fragile. Evil is real. And some countries do not get the luxury of losing one war.
