Poor Peter is so upset about a Fromm reference, but what his absolutely isnt about is one of Ohio states qbs.
Now we can get back to uga vs bama. We need our qb to play much better to beat bama. Bennett, like Fromm, hasn’t been good enough. Back to back 2nd half qb meltdowns should worry any healthy, educated fan.

So, to be clear, the braintrust is unanimous in agreeing with the undeniable fact that only an elite QB can beat Bama this year?

Kirby hasn’t had a good enough qb to beat bama. Perhaps he needs to make better choices at that spot.

That wouldn't make much sense would it? They lost to Calzada and Auburn played them well enough to win. What we have seen is when Stet has been behind against a high ranking team he has not played well.

The braintrust’s mandates are confusing. UGA MUST have an elite QB to beat Bama according to said braintrust, yet, the QB that beat them this year was a 2nd string and lost his job. While the same braintrust say the biggest blunder of Kirbs career was Fields, yet Fields ,who was on a very good team that passed and racked up huge stats all season, could do no better than Bennett.
Could it be, that just maybe, there are a lot of factors at play and speaking in absolutes is at best lazy and emotional?

Well at this juncture beating Michigan is the point. If we can get through that hurdle then beating Alabama will be the point, again.

We already knew he could excel against the weaker teams (AU, Vols), or that we could overcome his mistakes vs weaker teams (see UF 2021). That doesn't help us much when we play a team like Bama.

Even with Bennett's limitations, I think we can beat Michigan and Bama if Stetson has his best games of the season.
There are 2 main areas of improvement required:
1. He needs to rollout early and often and put pressure on the the opposing defense. When the DB's come up to stop the run, Bennett needs to throw accurate passes right to the middle of of the receiver.
2. When there's room to run, he needs to take it every time which will loosen up the coverage on trailing receivers.
Do these 2 things along with a return to solid defense and we have a chance to win both games.
