Bruce Feldman @BruceFeldmanCFB Now hearing that the Friday AJC report that UGA DC Dan Lanning is expected to become the next Oregon head coach was in fact accurate, per source.

Schumann hopefully

Promote Muschamp. Ive been saying this for a while now. Muschamp is the better DC between Schumann and Lanning. I wish we get Tucker back but we know thats not going to happen so again, Muschamp is the perfect candidate for the position.

Anyone going to bring up whether or not Lanning’s job shopping might of contributed to the defense’s uncharacteristic performance a week ago?….or are we all still cool with just pinning it on Stet?

Yes, he was out interviewing which hurt their preparation.

However, our scheme was shite so it made it bad to worse.

I think it’s a fair question. And squarely on topic.

Is landing coaching in the playoffs? Kirby stayed at bama for their title run.

What does this do for our recruiting? Who is on deck that might decommit now?

Well, the opener in atl next season just got a little more swagger.

Sick Naban is 3 & 0 against former assistants currently. Could be 5&0 by October next year.

Not sure. Read elsewhere that he wasn't the primary recruiter for many of the commits.

Also apparently he was close to the Okie job and was trying to convince recruits to follow him there.that got out to Kirby the Friday before Bama game...

He’s probly more focused on Oregon recruits. Turn it over to Schumann/Muschamp now to get ready for playoff.

I agree. We now know what the distraction was.

Shouldn’t do anything. Kirby is the reason the defense has been successful.

If this is true why doesn't Kirby just let him move on to Oregon.
