Why would a coach not play his best players?? Just doesn’t make any sense. Why not play Bennett in the second half tonight? It was worth a shot.

Heard multiple 1st hand reports last year from people around practice everyday that Fields would light up the defense in practice and that everything just clicked when he was with the ones. The reason(picking Fromm over Fields) for the departure of our 2018 WRs may hold some credence. But, once again, if that was the case, why would a coach not give him a real chance to run the offense. Just makes no sense.

Kirby’s ego and stubbornness may become his legacy.

Proverbs 16:18 - Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

I heard multiple, first hand reports that you took a few loads of Justin Fields in your mouth. I have excellent sources.

Don’t bring facts around here Mr..people don’t like to hear it. Can’t you tell Fromm is better than Fields looking at this season? Come on open your eyes.

Then why didn't that translate to the field more consistently? He had one good performance against a cupcake in mopup time.

I watched 2 spring practices and 2 fall practices with my own eyes not a third hand account. This is how Fields played in live action I saw at the time.

In spring he never made more than 1 read, he threw across his body all the time, he threw back across the middle of the field vs the 2s and 3s consistantly and when he was coached up he would make the same mistake again.

Come to the fall he was making more reads you could see him at least progress to his check down. Awesome good stuff, but out of 6 plays in rotation he would run at least 2 of them he would take what Kirby would see as unnecessary risks with the football. If fact Kirby slipped D Baker into a team time with the 2s & 3s and he picked Fields off on the same type of throws they had been telling him since the spring not to make.

Fields is extremely gifted athletically and had he stayed he would have won the based on this year, but as a true FR he wasn't there yet. Justin's attitude and lack of patience did him no favors either. This is a situation a lot like Brett Farve and the Falcons an incredibly gifted football player ran in to adversity and realized after making a move shite I have got to change some things myself if I'm going to be good at this level.

Yea because when I think of the best players on the team, I think of Stetson Bennett.
