I really think he just wanted to win and couldn't handle Richt's daydreams imo

Also heard some of the same stuff in addition to a few other more major things...

You fricks know I can't give specifics, even if I knew em ( i don't) ... & I don't have a direct source, grapevine-type stuff here... But I do trust the guy. There are other reasons Pruitt may not be at UGA next year that doesn't have to do with "scuffles" or BBQs. It has to do with recruiting violations.

I don't believe $ was exchanged or UGA committed any violations, but also doesn't mean Pruitt didn't try.

Will be interesting to see if we can retain him and this may all be overblown. I hate these types of posts, but TIFWIW.

Interesting. There have been so many rumors surrounding him this year it might be better long term for the program if he leaves soon. I'm not that bothered by him not getting along with coaches but anything that would put the program in jeopardy with the NCAA is no bueno.

So if not Pruitt, is there a list of candidates for DC?

Kirby Smart and the other four Broyles Award finalists were due into Little Rock, Ark., for a Monday night private dinner at the Clinton Presidential Library. The nation’s top assistant will be named at midday Tuesday.

Smart’s RSVP has had to change given his new gig as Georgia’s head football coach. Smart’s schedule means he’s now not expected be able to make it. The clock is running on the recruiting calendar. He’s flying to Washington state to visit five-star quarterback commitment Jacob Eason, who is considering other options. Smart didn’t know if he was flying a private jet or commercial. “To be honest with you, I don’t exactly know because it’s been a whirlwind,” Smart said after his Monday introductory news conference, “but I’m going and I’m going fast.”

That's a helluva endorsement. Skipping a huge personal award. Hope Eason gets it.

Does anyone know if Scott Cochran's wifes name is Ann? I saw an Ann Cochran today staying at the UGA hotel. I dont know if its a coincidence but I would assume that means we are in business for Cochran.

Names for OC are really all over the place. He didn't call his own plays, but seems like a rising star honestly. I like him being called the QB whisperer and Eason has to love he worked with Luck. Also, him leaving would be "concerning".

Let's hope KS can get this hire down, could already be showing his hire.

Also looking possible Pruitt is retained. We will see.

Elijah Holyfield highlights
Sucks to lose Whaley, but Holyfield looks really good. Some of the clips are against Buford, who provides competition well above their classification.

ETA: meant to throw this in the recruiting thread...sorry
