If you’re familiar with Kiffin’s head coach history, there is zero indication he’ll win anything at LSU and he sure as hell won’t be like Saban.

THIS...and it isn't even up for debate.

No fan of Kiffin but CFB HC's have been leaving for "shinier destinations" since CFB was invented and includes but not limited to: Bear Bryant,Bobby Bowden,Nick Saban,Steve Spurrier,Johnny Majors,John Heisman,Woody Hayes,Bo Schembechler, etc. Some were worse than others (Bryant,Heisman) but you get the point.

this is the point. Coaches have always left for greener pastures. Kirby is a UGA alumn but the alumn connection doesn't always mean a nice break; e.g. Rich Rodriguez and Johnny Majors to name 2. I get Ole Miss is upset but I don't think there was any easy way other than to leave 2 weeks ago. I get the feeling he didn't make a decision until last week.

Another point, Kiffin really seems uneasy in his body langauge about the whole situation and seems unsure about his decision. It seems like Sabana was a big influence on him leaving. Kiffin seemed real comfortable at Ole Miss. LSU will be a real pressure cooker.

Best season in modern school history shite on by Rival team by tampering. I get it

They paid him $25k a day to shop jobs on their dime...

SEC should put a rule in place to stop tampering by other SEC schools.

CLK is a good coach but lacks the discipline, work ethic and seriousness to ever put together a consistent championship program. He spends as much time on his image as he does on his team.

He may catch lightning in a bottle with the right mix of players but mostly he’s going to spend a bunch of money on NIL and miss the small things you need to be at a championship level consistently. Another Jimbo or Dabo is more like it.

He is always good for 3-4 bed shitting moments a year. Just like Kelly, I also heard Lane did seem to have things other than football practice on his mind.
