Why gross? I'd play it at 9am if we could. You always want to play as early as possible on the road.

Maybe against good teams or good home field advantages but give me a 330 or 4 start against a big underdog.

I guess I just don't see any rational reason for that, other than for our own fans at home swilling beer on the couch to have more time to pregame.
Allowing the home team more time to get juiced up doesn't really help us in any way. It's even worse being that it's by far the longest away trip we have this season, the players would be getting back home to their beds after midnight and we have Oklahoma the next weekend.
I remember playing an evening game in Tempe the week before playing bama at home. That one little thing by no means is why we got killed, but it absolutely didn't help us in any way.

Arkansas plays Utah at 10:15 pm the previous week. Probably get back to Fayetteville at 6am that Sunday morning and then has to turn around and play UGA at 11:00 am the following Saturday.
Kirby would be livid if that was done to UGA.

Exactly, especially considering it's the first road game of the season, and things rarely go according to plan in the first road game of the season. The scheduling gods continue to bless us. Only have to leave the state of Georgia three times this season.
