I read on a Clemson site that there have been talks that the game could be moved from Charlotte if full capacity isn't allowed.

good

play it it Tampa or Jax

reward the state of Florida with this game based on their reopening policies

Uga vs clemson in tampa is dumb as shite.

It's college football, it shouldn't be political. It needs to be played in georgia or north Carolina.

Would rather play it in Nashville if we are going to play somewhere with 0 relevance to either school

Also, Nashville >>>>>>> the whole state of Florida

Clemson- white (presumably? don't know, guessing)

Not so fast, either way

-Everyone playing roulette focuses on the red and black
-But aren't all the numbers white?

-think JT jersey number
-what color would that white # B on a roulette wheel

-bask & prepare

It isn't necessarily about politics. It's about NC potentially not allowing full capacity stadiums. If NC doesn't do that, the schools need to move the game to somewhere that will.

Outside of the original plan being Charlotte, if the game needed to be moved there’s legit no other reason the game should be played in NC considering neither team is from the state.

Why? Will it be a lesser game if they play to half capacity?

I’m just gonna leave that right there...

I will say that there was a time when I would have agreed with you about leaving politics out

However, we now live in a world where media and corporations want to punish states for requiring voter ID laws or for not wanting to let a man put on a dress and compete in women’s sports

Did you watch a Big 10 game last year where they had no fans in the stands? It was a fricking joke.

College football needs atmosphere and pageantry. Otherwise, it is literally a very watered down version of the NFL. The players love having fans in the stands.

I have been drinking a lot the past week and am also dealing with a new baby so my brain has been all over the place...I fully admit my dumbassery with the clemson/north carolina thing. No excuses there, I'm an idiot. My point still stands though, attendance be damned it at least makes sense to do it in charlotte. It's a carolina and it's close for both teams (less than 200 miles from athens and less than 150 for clemson). It's also not somewhere we play often, not to mention many of our fans have had travel acommodations set there for months.

Even if you did the next closest of Nashville...why? How many people are going to go to nashville that aren't going to go to charlotte? It's much farther distance wise and we play there every other year. Tampa? Good Lord. Even farther. And I'm curious how many people complaining about the issue and suggesting moving it are actually going to attend.

Jacksonville was another place suggested and I believe the game would be sold out if played here. Also reasonable travel distance for both teams.

How many people attended the gator bowl against penn state in jacksonville?

It's just pointless. It's throwing darts at a map and just finding any semi-large city in teh southeast. It's silly and serves no purpose. if you want to go to the game you'll go. Whether we have 40K fans there or 20K fans there kinda doesn't really matter IMO.

First off congrats on the little one, and second all of us dad's and mom's on here totally get it.

I agree with you for those already invested in Charlotte (or those alum like myself who live here). I was super stoked to have the dawgs in my backyard for such a huge game, considering the only other time you end up in Charlotte is for the Belk Bowl (which was already meh years ago, definitely no thanks now with this team and our expectations).

Hoping we open it up in NC and have a packed house.

I watched several B10 games last season. PAC12 and Big12 too. The games I saw that were what you call a fricking joke would have been the same if the stands were full. I realize a football game in a packed stadium is exciting if the game is close. But a blowout game is boring even with a full stadium unless your team is winning.
