No question.

very much lost in pass coverage but he was exceptional against the run.

Agreed. I actually think he was overrated VS the run at times. I saw him miss quite a few frustrating tackles.

Lynch is right. Sorry to see him go but actions have consequences. Team will be better for it

As shitty as the situation is it's not as big of a loss as some might think. He was already going to miss the Clemson and USCjr games, and almost certainly going to turn pro after next season.

I think we will start Moore but also be able to provide Mauger and Terry with game experience.

That would be the smart decision to make and get his shite together but I highly doubt he goes in that direction.
I bet he goes the FCS route so won't have to sit out

That's a sad waste of talent and resources, it's weird that people would throw so much opportunity away for something so short term.

What about his scholarship? is it lost and if so would it have been available for use if he had been properly processed before LOI day?

I don't think so. The LOI window is still open for a few more weeks. Worst case scenario is that it goes to a walk-on. NSD is just the first day a prospective student athlete can commit to a school with a binding agreement. Auburn just signed a kid last week.

I guess this means Tramel Terry is definitely going to play safety.

In principle, I agree but most kids don't want to be left in the breeze and have already signed with FCS/ D2 schools.

Umm yeah, he got kicked off the team. You don't really think they'd let him keep his scholarship do you?

Now if you're asking if his scholarship was lost altogether (as in UGA can't use it on someone else) then the answer is no. If he was kicked off before signing day, yes we could have given it to someone else.

As for now, I'm sure there is some deserving walk-on we can hand it to now. Or we could use it sign another kid next year.

I agree. I'd imagine that virtually anyone worth having has already committed to a school.

You can take the kid out the ghetto, but you can't...well you know the rest.

I think we all saw this coming. With him having to miss USCjr and Clemsux, I don't really care.
