That was scheme, keeping everything in front. Bash the scheme all you want, thats fair, but our personnel did their jobs well for the most part. Not dialing up pressure was also frustrating, considering some of the beasts we have.
And their qb had a hot hand for sure, whether he sucks in general or not, he was connecting quickly on Saturday.

So it's just our coaches who sucked? Yeah, I kinda agree. The scheme against MSU was pathetic.

I guess move the linebackers up a yard or two. Pressure the inexperienced QB more than we did. It seemed that we conceded those short passes over and over.

The Dallas Cowboys won a few Super Bowls with a defense like that.

That's exactly what we did the last 20 minutes of the game. Held them scoreless.
