This isnt a "fire chaney" thread. Yet. But i dont understand why he hasn't seen that they can not stop Chubb and Co. yet. I mean. We have the ball on our 1. Chubb rips off 40 yards and we go RIGHT BACK to a pass (that leads to a sack) We also have a 2nd an inches and run a jet sweep and a pass. Both drives lead to punts. I cant wrap my head around his way of thinking. Is it just me?

I think his game plan is to mix it up. Passing more often makes the running more effective. We just aren't executing very well on our passing plays and it looks like they are bad calls.

Maybe it is RPO and Fromm is the one making the reads to pass.

We’ve had some errant throws that could’ve made Chaney’s play calling look somewhat better if executed well

Thats a fair assumption. But if OU was getting gashe the way they were why aren't we lining up and playing smash mouth football. Yes i this point i realize they saw that they were getting owned and loaded the box again. but at that time? damn man. run the f*cking ball. 8 touches for Chubb and Michell in the first half? Chubb averaging 14.7 and Sony 47.5 and we dont get them more touches? I dont get it

No one gets enough touches when we don't convert 3rd downs. That's life.

We don't have to be a balanced offense. But we need to be balanced on 1st down.
That is an elementary aspect to our offense as we are playing better teams.
It is what it is. Without balance on 1st down, we are the DSOR.

Thats what i mean. We dont have to be balanced! So why come out to try to make this thing into a shoot out? Chaney seemed to be dead set on Fromm out passing Baker until the 2nd half

Cheney wouldn’t throw a pass in a come from behind game (First Auburn game) and wouldn’t run against Oklahoma who was giving up the run. OC’s across the country are wishing they had the chance to pilot the UGA offense, and we have the anchor trying to drag us down. His fat arse needs to go.

I haven't ever been a Chaney fan but what he has done with Fromm this year is great. Leading a true freshman to a win in OT during a playoff game is awesome!!
