What a sad sight it is this time of year compared to the those of the past. Those parties at the old convention center on Weds and Thursday nights were something we looked forward to all year. Cars and trucks everywhere sporting Bulldawg flags. The golf tournament was so large they had to rent extra golf carts. Bars packed with a sea of red and black every night.
Now you can barely tell that its Ga/Fla week.

Been in Fernandina Beach since yesterday afternoon, loaded with Dawgs... 
Quit going to Jekyll prolly 20yrs ago when it started to get run down. They've done a lot to upgrade it since then but the Fernandina/Amelia Island area has been a better place to stay for years...

Tickets sales would also suggest enthusiasm for the game being in Jax is going down. Tix are going for around 60 fr 2 and will probably go down. We went in 2019 and staid on Amelia island Ritz. Lot of people were skipping the game and hanging out at the pool. I think it's only a matter of time before it moves to home and home.

Uf people, many are cleaning up from Ian and a general feeling down in the gator nation. The swamp has been empty some as well.

IF it were in their stadiu where they have 95% of the tickets I could see that. But in Jax where they only have 50% of the tickets, and they are still going for that, I don't think Ian is a good explanation. What was the attendance for the LSU in Gainseville game? I bet it was a hell of a lot higher than what 50% of JAX is.

Just checked the board, got a friend that runs the N.E Fl Graybar Electric warehouse. Tailgating on Jesse St about a mile or so from stadium, he's having a bbq for customers from N Fl and S Ga.
Sketchy as frick industrial area but hes got peeps watching cars and shite for all during game and a coupla small shuttle buses running folk to stadium before and after game...
