Mostly because what happened was the most logical outcome. Offense sucked all season and continued to suck. But if there are no major changes on offense including staff this really will be Richt 2.0 and Coley will be Smart's Martinez.

I genuinely did not think we would win going in, not even that little sliver of hope in the back of my mind. Made the loss a lot easier to stomach actually. I’m glad we got blown out instead of losing a nail biter, hopefully it forces some changes.

I was over the loss when burrow caught the batted pass and ran for a first down. In essence throwing himself a first down pass. Unbelievable.

When you saw things happen on the field yesterday you just knew it was not going to go well for Ga. The guy drops the pass right off the bat, Burrow completes the pass to himself. Burrow escapes a good rush and heaves the long pass downfield to the wide out, it just was not to be.

Is Kirby too stubborn to try to fix this offense? Even Saban brought in Kiffen to bring his offense into the 21st century a few years back.

I never concede loss, we often find a way to win as an underdog.

That said, it was clear early on we were not having anything go our way. Nothing. Nothing at all.

Drops, missed kicks, missed sacks, an official that would not even call running I to the kicker...

That’s exactly when I gave up hope. Not gonna win if that stuff happens

With all the injuries and other problems we were having on the O, I never seriously thought we'd win, either. I just loved having some fun smack-wise with the LSU fans. Lordy, they're a sick bunch.

Sick and obnoxious. The LSU fanbase is quickly passing UF and Aubbie for most obnoxio most obnoxious fanbase.

We had some major hurdles to overcome in the SECG. Pickens and Cagers absence did not help either. Swift seemed to be ok but who knows if he had a nagging injury.

See had some opportunities to put theming their heels too but we dropped passes and missed key blocks which kept momentum in their favor. Let's face it. They were the better team.

I am concerned about next year. We have been pretty spoiled with amazing talent over the past few years but who will step up next year? Fromm could be gone, Swift too. Yikes!

I was over pretty much by the end of the game. I predicted a loss so I wasn't surprised but I hoped we would be competitive so yea, in that I was disappointed.

The AD needs to open the checkbook and let Kirby hire a innovative OC.
We need to continue to recruit better at key positions but we need coaches who can develop talented players.
We obviously have a lot of young talent on the team but there are obvious talent gaps that created poor matchups with LSU. Scheme played a role no doubt but no matter how you spin it, LSU had much better players at: QB, WR, OL, DL, DB and sadly their FG kicker was better than HotRod on that day.

I'm sure cost isn't the issue with hiring a coordinator for us. Its who's making the decision...

Yeah...every time we open a game with a deep shot that gets dropped all I can think of is 2005 Cocktail Party...it’s always the same result.

I actually expected to lose this game. What I hoped for was a competitive game. No run game, receivers having balls bounce off their hands, Burrow having 10 seconds to throw the ball, and turnovers killed my hopes.

I'm not so sure about that given the history of our AD. CMR obviously had trouble getting the money he needed to fund the best staff and I seriously doubt that Kirby has a blank check to work with.
Let me put it this way: I don't think our AD will be willing to pay what LSU did for their assistants.

With the money that is now coming into these SEC programs there is no excuse to not meet whatever the market price is for assistants. I don't know what the market price is, but these coaches know. Any organization needs top talent running it.
