Did you make the same point when richt was fired before the bowl game? We won without a head coach

I can make the same argument.
Bryan McClendon and John Lily were in charge of the offense and Kevin Sherrer was in charge of the defense. McClendon and Sherrer are rising studs in the coaching ranks. UGA football was not short on leadership going into the Tax slayer Bowl.

We had the leadership and should have fought/won against James Franklin and the Nittany Lions.

Let me let you in on a secret:

Fox wasn't the only coach on our staff, just like richt wasn't.

I'm not a basketball guy. I can take your word for that.

But salaries and promotions tell me that UGA football had more leadership at the end of the 2015 season than UGA basketball right now.

Do you disagree?

Leadership from where? Uga also lacked an offensive coordinator when richt was fired.

Meanwhile, Jonas was the bball version of McClendon, and Philip Pearson had interim experience unlike McClendon.

You didn't answer the question.
If you had to hire a leader (remove the sport), are you hiring Brian McClendon and Kevin Sherrer? Or are you hiring Jonas and Pearson?

John Lily and Brian McClendon handled the offense for the bowl game. McClendon has been promoted to OC and John Lilly has been promoted to the same role in the NFL. Again, simple evidence tells me that the football team had more leadership.

At the time of the situations, Pearson was the most qualified to take an interim head coach role of any of the coaches we are discussing. Easily moreso than a wr coach hired to recruit more than anything else.

Agree to disagree. BMAC is a born leader. Much more than just a recruiter. He's rising fast through the coaching ranks. Sherrer, too.

They aren't all of a sudden figuring out how to coach. And they are making a shitload more money. Youve said your piece. You wouldn't take BMac/Sherrer over Pearson/Jonas when it comes to leadership.

We are not going to agree.

Nonetheless, however highly you think of the fb guys as of 2015, it doesn't prove the bball guys werent as qualified, or moreso, to lead a team that lost its head coach. 2 of the bball guys actually had head coaching experience, which can't be said about any of the fb guys. Thats a key distinction that renders your original point worthless.
