We haven’t been able to put up points against Saban defense in most of the match ups. We put up more than 30 one time and we got the W in Indianapolis. Can’t expect to hold them to less than 20 points. Our Offense has to prove something

Our offense has tended to be our undoing. Looking at every mathcup:
-17 we were in good shape but sony's hip got hurt which took that away and chaney completely turtle shelled into a hole and basically tried to run the entire game clock out after we went up 20-7. If we stayed agressive, we win the game.
-18 we were lights out so can't complain. Probably the best exmaple of "punching above our weight class" i can recall. Had bama won it all that '18 team would go down as maybe the best they've ever had and we were right there with them
-20 3 turnovers. poor timing. Clean up the offense and we hang wtih em a little longer
-21 offense did fine but our defnesive quagmire is well documented. 100% totally on teh defense
-21 offense did fine again. Only scored 26 but it was enough'
-23 Offense was exclelent on the first drive then our LT quit playing and we went into a shell again
It seem slike we'll have some success against them then we get so nervous that we're winning that we do the opposite of what's worked. I really hope that these mental lapses are gone with saban

Beck is a great asset when our OL can block for him and the running game.
When the OL is getting manhandled, Beck becomes a liability due to his lack of athleticism.
All I'm saying is the QB position might well be a net positive for Bama because Milroe is a dual-threat QB with great speed.
However, if our OL can get it together, we can definitely win the game with Beck at the helm.
But that is a big if based on what we saw vs Kentucky.

Does anyone else feel disappointed that most pundits are saying bama has the edge at a lot of positions ?
Have we just not recruited as well as them or is it an injury situation?
I feel like with how many they had leave when Saban left and a no name west coast coach coming in that we should have a descent talent advantage and should be able to take advantage, yet most are picking bama to dominate the line of scrimmage.
I don't know just don't see how it's a good thing that a first year coach with a new system is going to take down a well established UGA team with a senior QB and a top 3 recruiting avg over the past free years.
Imo this is a must win for Kirby to put the new bama coach in his place. Let them win, and even though we can make the playoffs, I see it as pure negative.

Think about it like when Saban left LSU loaded with talent to Les Miles who then won the NC, though it turned out Les wasn't that great of a coach.
It's a night game in Tuscaloosa.
Alabama is an excellent team even with Kaitlyn, they may not be excellent over time with him, but see above regarding Saban/LSU/Miles.

The data reveals Bama with 17 five star players vs 14 for Georgia.
As you might expect, most of the disparity is on offense:
Bama: 9 five stars - 3 WR, 3 OL, 2 RB and 1 QB, Milroe
UGA: 5 five stars- 3 OL, 1 RB, 1 WR
Translation: Bama is the more balanced team with their best talent distributed pretty evenly across offense and defense while most of our talent is on defense. I think we are missing on difference makers at QB and WR because our team has a reputation for focusing on the running game on offense with 2 TE's. This is fine when you get good production at those positions but our OL seems to be struggling.
