If we could at least sustain drives and keep our D fresh for the 4th quarter. The only time teams threaten to score tds is in the 4th after our d is gassed. This would never happen if we didn’t go 3 and out so often on offense.

The 3-and-outs are by far my biggest issue and it’s gotten worse as the season’s gone on. You can’t go 3-and-out 7, 8, 9 or 10 times in a game and just count on your defense bailing you out. Our defense got us out of some holes they won’t be able to deliver against LSU or a playoff team.

An offensive performance like the Florida game is one I can live with. Sure, we didn’t put up a lot of points, but we converted third downs, controlled the ball and allowed our defense to play at their speed.

That and Smart starts playing zone to try and milk the lead.

Fromm was waaaay off tonight, or it would have been a blowout.

I love fromm, but this was the second worst game of his career.

1. SC game 2019
2. Today
3. LSU 2018

Fromm was garbage today.

I don’t think our d is gassed, could have been a part of it. We played 2-deep safety zones with a soft cushion and Jimbo, just like Gus, recognized its and promptly picked it apart.

What is your definition of "picked it apart"?

Moved down the field much more consistently and found gaps in the zone. I didn’t think that was a big secret. From late in the 3rd to 4th qtr they moved the ball well.

He’s obviously got something going on. Who knows what it is but he’s not the same this year as he’s been the last two.

My guess is there’s a woman involved.
