The performance of the OL last year was alarming, even considering the injuries. Talent level at OT has dropped off from a few years ago but there’s more than enough on the roster to be better than they were a year ago.

Pitman is the best there is and I would love to know what actually happened with Luke....

Have always wondered what the story was there also. From ‘need more time with the family’ to on Clemson’s staff a couple of years later was kind of a fishy transition.

23 was 12-0 with a new QB and a new record beatdown in bowl game, with the pesky bama loss in SECCG, not a big regression, only slight.

We should've made the playoff and likely get the threepeat. Michigan was just not that good, imo.

We should have had at least one of the ranking services finish us at #1 so we could at least have an asterisk championship.

Greene was decent in 23 and horrendous at LT in '24. Probably more naturally suited for guard, but can be a good RT in a pinch. The others were and are complete non factors

Lol, it takes a great deal of committment and imagination to defend our 2022 OL class, but dammit if you didn't just try.

Also, the fact that a true freshman basketball player who hadn't played football since middle school was getting second team reps at tackle last season shouldn't make us feel great either.

Id ask if you even read what I wrote, but you quoted it so I know you did. I said one guy was horrendous and the others were non factors. How you can look at that and call it "defending" is beyond comprehension.

Been wanting to reply to this thread for a while. Finally approved.

I could see us losing 4 or more games next year.

Also, I may put in a future for Ga Tech to be in the playoffs. They are going to be really good.

I’ll respect the thought despite how much of a reach it could be.

Care to elaborate how tech becomes top 12 since they aren’t winning the ACC for sure and our 4 Ls?

Conceptually a team could lose every game. Which 4 have you so alarmed (tx and bama low hanging fruit) that you think a multi year, multi class, multi personnel organization across multiple years steps back to its inaugural term territory? Just wondering

Tech returns a lot on both sides of the ball, including their OL. Their recruiting has been better in recent years so depth of talent is as high as it has been in a while. I think a key is a good coach and the players play hard for him.

Haynes King in the third year of Buster Faulkner offense will be hard to stop. They kept Haynes and Rutherford at skill positions. Even if King gets hurt, their backup is really good and will be a plug and play. Most other teams don't have that luxury.

They have a manageable schedule on paper. Most of their tougher games would be at home. Don't play Florida St or Miami.

The reason I say 4 is the number of tossup games is higher than recent memory.

Tech
Florida
Ole Miss
Texas
Bama

All are tossups to me. I also think Auburn and Tennessee will be tough road games. Auburn more so than UTks clown offense.

to me Gunner is still a question mark. His throwing motion combined with question marks at tackle make me worried about turnovers. Can Bobo take advantage of better skill position players? Will our DL be able to be disruptive again? And maybe most importantly, can we run the ball successfully?

His arm isn't long enough to do the over-under for a jackoff, and a regular jackoff just doesn't do it for him anymore. So he lashes* out here.

Thank you for letting us know with your first post here that you’re either an idiot or a troll.

:(

Closer to an idiot than a troll I guess.

I gave some reasoning in the post below. I could see the ACC getting 2-3. Think tech is set up to be one of those teams unfortunately

You don't have to pretend here. They won't kick you off. We've had many tech fans here for years who talk shite, and take the shite talk back to them. Stop pretending and be a real person with real opinions.

Not a tech fan. UGA alum. Like to zig when others zag. Didn't think it would be that controversial.
