Finished 15th in the conference in rushing yards per game.
We were 13th in rushing attempts. When we were running the ball a lot everybody was screaming we needed to update our offense and throw the ball. Now that we are throwing the ball (3rd in SEC in passing yards per game) we need to run the ball.

It's like Peter Buck said. It's a matter of perspective.
To your point...you can blame Bobo for not running the ball more, and that would be accurate. But, had we run the ball more and not won a title people would be saying we had a QB that was supposed to be picked #1 over all or at least top 10 in the draft..so why didn't we throw the ball. In short, we can all be Monday morning QB's and nitpick, and find things we "should" have done differently.
As fans we have the luxury of criticizing when things don't go as we had hoped. That's fair. But we did finish #6 in the country, and made the playoffs. Should we be satisfied? No. But we shouldn't throw the towel in and become jaded, either.
I have just about stopped going into the baseball threads because people are saying they will stop watching the baseball team because they are "fed up" with them. That's a team that is 20-2 right now.

UGA fans were complain because we couldn't make March madness a couple f years ago, and somebody just started a thread talking about we would all be dead before the basketball was any good. And we just made March Madness.
My point is not to point fingers (I never pointed out any individuals...and won't) but to say this: If we don't learn to enjoy the teams and what they are doing we will go through some fun times and look back on them and wonder why we didn't remember it being so good. We no longer enjoy individual games, but grow bitter over not winning a championship in every sport every year.
We have a great football team, decent basketball team and very good baseball team. Enjoy it, and hope they get better, but don't get mad over every little aspect of a game.

Well, I remember when 11 wins, an SEC championship and mopping the floor with Auburn, UF and GT all in the same year would have made for a wonderful offseason of football elation. (sigh)...my how things have changed.
But for the record, I'll say again, if we would not have been 2nd in the country in most drops by receivers and our OLine had not have been riddled with injuries, our season could have been untarnished. If Beck had not got hurt, we would have probably bested ND and played for a natty. Not sure how we would have fared against the Suckeyes, but that would be the 3rd Natty would have played for in 4 years. Uh, most programs would LOVE to have the chance to just play for ONE in that span of time.
Remember too that the Robinsons and Etienne were all injured at different parts of the year and that made us have to rely on true freshmen and a walk-on (Cash Jones) to fill in the gaps at RB. That hurt continuity there as well.
Alot went wrong for the team that was out of their control.
All that being said, I'm a glass is half full kinda guy. I'm not worried.

Remember too that we lost both of what was supposed to be our top 2 WRs due to pre-season off field crap that also hurt the team and continuity. If you think about it, we're lucky it wasn't way worse due to losing so much talent and it may have been CKS's best coaching performance yet.
All those missing peices and yet we we were still nearly in the natty. Speaks to the depth and recruiting too.

You are either 12 or 75. I can't decide which one.

Yup. So could I. We shall see. My enthusiasm for the sport as a whole has almost become apathetic, and I don't see it improving.
Sign me up for the less than enthused train as well.

Since you want to use this “alter” Schtick let’s talk about how bandwagon asf your username is
10$ I bet that I already know one of the reasons you wanna keep Tomlin as a head coach if you really are a Steelers fan

Being my family is from Western PA, being a Steeler fan is a birthright so any talk of being a "bandwagon" fan is absolute bullshite.
But keep trying to psychoanalyze, it's cute.

Ultimately I feel that way cuz this team did not play to a standard that has been established the past few years.. Out of everyone/ everything Kirby surprised me the most! In previous seasons UGA would win by a huge number and he’d comment “we gotta get better!”, this past year UGA would barely beat a lesser opponent and he’d say how proud he was of them.. I’m feeling pretty good that angry Kirby is back in the spring!

I’m okay with angry Kirby and it may be motivation but I can’t help but think it’s also some truth given todays youth

Kirby has already stated you can’t coach them without offending them. I honestly have really low vibes coming out of camp. It’s probably gonna be a long season and Kirby will be forced to make changes. Very low energy right now.
