You didn’t see it? He joined Marty smith and McGee to broadcast his belief in mental health virtue
At the time, he said he was dealing with ‘never have been injured and not the man syndrome’ before. and it was trying times. So he had to talk to a psychologist.
Stet continued to work. Welcome to Georgia

So, your issue with Daniels is that he doesn't put on a tough guy act or drive a monster truck with 66" tires to compensate for insecurities?

66 inch tires would require a complete body lift kit and suspension overhaul

This is VERY similar to the Fromm-Fields situation. Fromm just kept getting it done vs overmatched opponents so it was hard to make the case for Fields as the higher ceiling qb.
But, HEY! I saw us win a natty with a 1/8 qb performance. So if the Gods say it’s Stet then I’m all in. I’m too old to gameplan this shite so I’m just gonna watch.
This is nothing like Fromm/ Fields. Fromm was in system before Fields and was light years ahead of fields in scheme and reads. Fields had more raw talent but when you can't pick up the playbook, make reads, and progress through receivers, you aren't ready. Fields didn't want to wait and learn and compete. Fields is getting criticized in the NFL now for his lack of progressions and reads. Again, many college QB's have won NC's and didn't have NFL talent.

This discussion reminds me of when Twilight was popular and all the teenage girls were talking about being on team sparkly vampire 1 vs sparkly vampire 2.
Both QBs have strengths and weaknesses. CKS is going to play the QB whose abilities match up best against the defense we are playing that week once both QBs are ready for action. Daniels seems to be ready now so we will see who he matches up against going forward.
Both QBs can run the offense. Both QBs can make adjustments and read defenses. Both QBs can throw the ball around successfully, using our many weapons to pick up yards.
Bennett has mobility. Daniels has more zip on the ball. Bennett can throw it deep but seems to be inconsistent hitting players in stride, turning sure TDs into jump balls. Daniels can’t evade pressure very well outside of a sidestep or moving up in the pocket and he won’t be expected to extend plays or pick up first downs with his feet like Bennett can.
This isn’t about local boy vs west coast. It’s not about preseason Heisman talk vs a feel good walk-on story. Its certainly not about a QB controversy that happened 3 seasons ago. It’s about winning football games, and so far we have been winning with both QBs. I expect that to continue happening, with CKS playing the QB that gives us the best chance of winning the next game on the schedule.

Damn he is looking rough.
His (Daniels) INT came from needing to knock the rust off a bit. He could have done that in garbage time against Florida. That said, I am more than willing to allow Kirby Smart run the team as he sees fit. He is the one that will reap the rewards if we win and suffer the consequences if we lose.
I thought Daniels looked good considering. As others have said, I am glad we have Daniels and Bennett. I think we will need them both going forward.

Bama or TAMU would have picked Bennett 3 times today.
That's a silly blanket statement to make and carries no more merit than if somebody came on here and said "Alabama or Texas A&M would have picked off Daniels today!"
Anybody can come on here and say anything they want, but that doesn't make it a fact.
Both sides of the argument needs to look at the guys with a bit more objectivity.
Daniels timing was off. He threw behind at least one receiver, got picked off and had a ball batted down. Bennett was criticized unmercifully for those very things earlier in the season, but now Daniels gets a pass?
That said, I do believe that Daniels is the better QB, and Bennett can make costly mistakes at times. But, for the most part he has protected the ball pretty well this year.
I wish our fan base would relax and trust the coach a bit more instead of complaining. Florida fans got exactly what they wanted QB wise against us. The said they would score 20+ points and possibly win if Richardson started.
Believe it or not coaches sometimes know what they are doing and make good decisions based on all the information they have.....which is a boatload more information than any of us have and more than any blogger or random guy that makes a video and posts it on YouTube.

You can honestly look at some stuff though. A few of those balls would have been picked on another Saturday even against a worse team. We’re gonna need both QBs, but I do think JT has the higher ceiling as a complete pro style qb. Stet can run better
Edit: I guess I should say they *should* have been picked off. Objectively you could say we’d all be disappointed if we didn’t pick those if the play was against us. Stet was fortunate

Have you seen Alabama's defense?
I was told that we could not assume we would have beaten Cincinnati worse if we had had the 12 players missing when we played them, yet we can assume a random player would somehow make an INT based on nothing?
If you can say that, then you can say a couple of passes Daniels threw would have been picked to0. I know at least one was thrown behind the receiver.
Look. I can look at Daniels play yesterday and confidently say it was not representative of his play as a QB. He was rusty. Some of you guys can't bring yourselves to compliment Bennetts play even when he is good.

As was Daniels, I guess?
I think Daniels is the better QB, but the lengths you guys go to to make Bennett worse than he is is amazing sometimes.
