I don’t follow the nfl until this time of year when I get the shakes. But from what I can tell watching this one, and listening to the commentary, George Pickens is still exactly who he always was.

A highly talented but selfish overly emotional retard that can’t see 3 inches in front of his nose.

You should probably stick to not following the NFL. Pickens is the Steelers offensive MVP this season. Dan Orlovsky can't stop saying nice things about him and clearly wants to see George Pickens naked.

Why trash former players for no good apparent reason?

Pickens is another generational talent that barely played for us. Could’ve won that 2021 natty if he had played more…
In all seriousness we really missed out with his injuries but he is a bit of a loose cannon.

Pickens easily could have hired an agent, cashed in and left Athens to train for the draft after the ACL injury that spring, But he didn't, and it seems like some of our fans forget that.

He has/had some real issues. There are some folks at UGA who definitely looked out for him and helped address his issues. I like to think of this as a success story of UGA preparing him for more than football.

I saw some good media publicity for pickens today.

The timing of the thread is a little funny.

(And I get it... the good publicity is news because it isn't the normal publicity attributed to George).

We did win it lol. You must be referring to the SEC title game. nonetheless he didn't even have to plan that game and the fact that he came back as quick as he did to even be in that game suited up is amazing in itself after ACL tear.

What ?!?!? we won the 21 natty?!?!?
Sarcasm doesn’t translate well through text. He had a huge catch in that game.

I truly don’t get the Pickens hate on this board. Yes he had some issues with his conduct at times and never really performed up to his potential just like AJ green, but does everyone just memory hole the fact he came back Incredibly fast from a pre season acl injury to actually suit up for tech and the SEC championship. He made a massive catch in the Natty that year too that was pretty badly overthrown by mailman and he literally Superman dove for it. Say what you will about him but he obviously loved UGA
