Is she conducting the band? Or is she doing sign language of the song lyrics for the hearing impaired?
I think if we could hear the music playing, it might not be as bad as it looks.

It's sign language for the national anthem, she's just getting really into it.
The first sign is the star spangled banner yet wave
Over the land
Of the free
And the home
Of the brave.
"Brave" in sign language is claw hands followed by a clenched fist.

How despicable can it get? these commies mocking the sign languaging of America’s national anthem. What’s it mean? What’s it all leadin to?
I think once you quit hearin “sir” and “mam” the rest is soon to foller.
It’s the tide, deerpig. The dismal tide

My kid's preschool taught sign language so I picked up on a few sings.
The sign language for "incomplete pass on 3rd down" is the simulation of drinking a beverage, crushing it, and throwing it at the TV. The sign for "Run the damn ball" is simply opening your mouth and licking your palm while holding eye contact with your audience. The sign for "Kirby can't manage a QB room" is more complicated. You must drop your pants and rigorously, maniacally fondle yourself.
