In Matthew He rides in on both a colt and a donkey. In Mark and Luke he's just on the donkey. The nuance of old testament poetry was lost on poor Matthew.

You are correct sir.

I started a topic a few weeks ago about doing the Eucharist at home for Communion and it was deleted on OT-Lounge.
A piece of home made bread and a cup of home made wine, the body and blood of Christ.
Any opinions from Darin or Jefferson, or anyone else?
I'm not talking about a priest making a house call for an elderly infirmed parishoner, but people celebrating the Eucharist at home in general without the bread or wine being blessed by a priest.

You should check out the Immortality Key. Book that goes into the origins of Greek Christianity and how it is very likely that the early eucharist were spiked with psychedelics. Really interesting

I was thinking less Socrates and more David Koresh.

You start getting into pre Nicean Christianity and you may get a visit from Torquemada… and believe me, you can’t torquamada anything.

At what age did your kids first start taking Communion?

When was the last time I dabbled in Satanism here? It's been years. I have change my ways. You don't have to believe me but I wish you would. God believes me. I pray every day. The old saying about there's no athiests in a fox hole is true.

I’m worried that K9 is overdosing on joe rogan podcasts

I'm worried about the fact that google lyrics for Honeysuckle Blue are not at all what KK is singing in that song.
Do a side by side. Something is going on.

Kevin got so fat his gravitational field modified the lyrics.

Hand up, probably true. The Immortality Key author episode also had Graham Hancock on too. That episode and the Hancock and Randall Carlson episodes are my favorite.
Back on subject. What are y'all's favorite Easter songs? Mine is 'In Christ Alone'. There used to be a killer video of this church in Orlando preforming it live with an in house band and choir. they were so good. It has been removed unfortunately.
Here is a good back up though Prestonwood church

Hey I have some religious questions I've been wondering about for a while.
If you are commiting a sin and you don't even realize it, do you still get into heaven if you never repented that sin?
What about someone who tries to understand the bible and Jesus and whatnot but just never really could grasp it? Do you get sent to hell for essentially being too dumb to get it?

Good questions not sure. I think this where you have to dig deep and separate the human influence from the actual word of God. Lot of greedy humans got their hands on and edited the Bible I think.
Darin probably has forgotten more than I would know about the history of the Bible so let's see what he thinks.

Don't make salvation harder than it should be. Go read the the Gospel of Luke, 23rd chapter, the account of Christ'a crucifixion. Pay attention to the exchange with the good thief and bad thief. That thief had probably lived his whole life as an evil-doer and thief. Never set foot in the temple to worship probably, never read any scriptures of Moses and the laws of God. He knew nothing about religion, or God or commandments. But in the last hour of his life, he met Christ. He exchanged ONE line of conversation with Him...and that was enough.
