Last year ST won the Rose Bowl this year it lost the Sugar Bowl.

I think all else will fix itself next year but we need a serious fix for STs.

Maybe but overall I just think our teams wasn't focused last night. Texas wanted the game a lot more than we did.
I like what one commentator said about Iowa's coach, something like: I want you guys to be perfect in every little detail on every play. Not only were we not perfect last night but our overall execution was subpar on most downs.

Agree, but I feel last year's STs were the beat I have seen at UGA, this year's, the worst.

It's 33% of the game while only being a handful of plays.

Wish we had given Beamer whatever he wanted to stay.

I knew losing Beamer would hurt. I’m telling you now losing Tucker will hurt too. That defense we put on the field last night was garbage.

To be fair to the defense, it was in state of upheaval. Tucker just left, lots of guys down with injuries, and one guy holding out - not the best set of circumstances for something that really needs to function as a unit.

Was it really? Look how long they were on the field due to our inept Offense and where the average start was for Texas? They wouldn't have won any trophies but they held up good enough that our O could have pulled it out. Minus LeCounte, he needs to learn how to wrap up or ride the pine.
