Rushing is not stellar but moving the ball and the passing is under 100 yards, do you bring in Pugs?

Pugs will not see the field this season outside of injury or garbage time. I think Kirby is the best coach in CFB, but if he has one fault it’s loyalty.

Then I need Gunners ability to get out of trouble and improvise. And his maturity to not give up the ball trying to win it for us. Lean on defense, special teams and run game while he develops.

Dude, do NOT bring logic into this scenario.

Ok, in your scenario you are staying with Gunner? And is that no matter what?

And being down 21pts to Tenn and putting Pugs in the 4th after it’s over is not an option you can choose.

I didn’t say that. You asked down by 7 at half, I’m sticking with the QB in that scenario. Down 21 and it’s over, if I think Stockton is done for the day and it’s lost. I’m going with Pugs.

But honestly, I don’t see Stockton as the lost cause some seem to. I’ve been a fan since before he signed and think he’s done ok so far.

Next week is a huge test for the entire team and I really hope some of the OL are healthy and the whole team is locked in. Might still not be enough to win at this point but it’s what we got.

I just think he is qb 2 based on his skill sets

I would agree if we had a better OL but as is I think we need Gunner's dual-threat toughness.
If our OL can improve, then Puglisi appears to be the better pocket passer.
I can definitely see using both of them in specific situations.
I would prefer Gunner in the red-zone and Puglisi moving down the field and if we are behind with limited time.

It depends. Is it 7-0 with nothing going on offensively, or is it 21-14 and we’re just having trouble getting off the field defensively?

No I don’t think this defense is going to have trouble getting off the field.
Honestly everyone is crying about the offense but I see no praise for how good this defense is.

I was just speaking in hypotheticals. I don’t expect UT to move the ball well on UGA’s defense.

Unfortunately I suspect we’ll be 3-and-out a lot ourselves, but we’ll see

I think the D has played well and everyone knows it.

The disparity is sooo glaring with the O that it has to be talked about.

I mean we are watching OU and MSU QB’s look like actual heisman types, while we are scared to throw more than 15 yards.

Is that because we can’t? Or saving the plays? Not sure why we would save those plays for 2 full games if so.

Tennessee is going to stack the box to stop the run and force Georgia to pass.

I’m actually not sure about that until we prove we can run it on their base front. If I were them, I’d make UGA prove (1) we can run it on a power 5 front, (2) throw into coverage, and (3) drive incrementally down the field without negative plays and penalties.

I don’t think they want to be playing a lot of man coverage. That just simplifies things for Gunner.
