As we all know next Saturday we play South Carolina at Williams Brice stadium, and make no mistake about it Spurrier would love nothing more than to whip our arses and tie Vince Dooley's all time win record at 201. Yes I know the gamecocks have looked bad at times this season but this is also the same team that crushed us in 2012. Do y'all remember how long those two weeks were after that lost and having to go through a bye week without being able to erase that game from our memory? All week Spurrier is going to be playing mind games with the media so just don't listen to that crap! I hate everything about that guy and I know our boys will not underestimate this team. How great would it be to beat them at their own house?
My Prefictions: UGA 34 and USC 31.
What's your prediction?

It's going to be a slug fest for at least the first half. South Carolina didn't "lose" it all week 1 against aTm & UGA didn't "win" it all week 1 versus Clemson.

It's going to come down to turn overs and special teams. That being said I give the edge to The Dawgs simply because SCAR will have to throw the ball I believe to move the sticks. UGA's kicker and punter are fantastic, edge there as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game went just like Clemson. Too many body blows by our RB's, too much field position, too much Pruitt dialing up blitz looks in the 4th.

Go Dawgs.

This game will define the rest of their season. They are going to give it everything they have, for sure.

I hope we blitz the frick out of Thompson where we get him flustered and making bad decisions. It will be interesting to see this week in practice if JSW and Mitchell can get back out there. I like our chances but like you said it will be a slug fest.

I think if we play zone and get a good pash rush on defense, we can win by 3 scores. Their defense is going to get tired and they do not tackle well. Their QB is not that good under pressure. Their only chance is to be able to run it on us and hope for some cheap PA long throws.

I was surprised how bad their tackling was these past two games. I don't think Pruitt trusts our guys back there to play man strictly the whole game so we will see a lot of zone just can't give up any big plays. It's also nice to have two weeks to game plan and we didn't show a whole lot against Clemson as far as our playbook offensively goes. It was also nice to see Pruitt playing a bunch of different players I was impressed with kimbrough and carter

they do not tackle well.

Hopefully that trend continues....they do tackle very poorly...you'd think Grantham was stalking their sideline. Arm tackling is not going to work against Gurley and company....

Spurrier can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. UGA by 2 touchdowns.

Good God,you'd think the guy is some type of Wizard with all bedwetters on this board.

Never seen a fan base so petrified in my life.

And I'm well aware of his history with us.

I'll admit to Spurrier making me nervous, but it is worth reminding ourselves that he does have a losing record vs. UGA during his time in Columbia (4-5).

Film study is critical. I don't think we showed all we got against Clampson. I think the Old Ball Sack showed a lot against the Aggies trying to stay in the game. We are armed with more knowledge about them than they have about us. We win by 17 and it's never close.

I smell a high upset possibility. South Carolina is very likely not as bad as people are saying based on the first game blow-out by Texas A&M. UGA is not as good as the Clemson game made us appear.

I can see at least one defensive lapse by our secondary resulting in a TD, and I can see Mason getting happy feet in a loud, hostile SEC road game. Figure he fumbles or throws one pick six.

South Carolina will not be able to fully shut down Gurley; that's practically impossible. But they will force the game on to Mason's shoulders, confuse him, and we'll have to fight for everything.

I seriously hope that the UGA players aren't reading and believing the hype that came from the Clemson game.

I think a few daring folks might make a pile of money taking the underdog in this one....

After watching their two games you think it is a given USC takes a pic 6 from us? Dude, they need to worry about tackling first...

UGA stomps them by 17 to 27 points. I think Spurrier is spending more time with the bottle then his team.

Sounds like even Richt is worried about Mason in this game.

“Even Hutson Mason, I don’t know if he’s been in a game that’ll be quite this loud,” Richt said. “And the quarterback is the guy who’s really got to handle the noise more than anybody. He’s gotta direct traffic and communicate and stay poised. So it’s going to be interesting to see how he handles it. But he’s not gonna be the only one handling it for the first time. There’s a few other guys on this team who are gonna be trying to handle it for the first time.”

We were supposedly a top 5 team when we went to Columbia last year..... Just sayin'...

USC was supposed to be a top 10 team when ATM butt raped them at home two weeks ago. The only good call Spurrier made was to let one of his assistants drive him home...
