I guess there just wasn't enoguh targets to go around so I can't really blame him for wanting ot stand out somewhere else.

True, but it should be a given that someone who truly has UGA DNA would NEVER consider transferring to Florida, Bama, Auburn or Tech. Probably not Tennessee, either.

Gotta draw the line somewhere

I have my own line.

If you win my fat arse 2 national championships, you can transfer anywhere you please.

I've got no beef with any of the transfers (not even Burton).
Once I see "mission accomplished", go do you. I support you until you line up opposite the gridiron from us.

Does anyone know what his degree was in at UGA?

I need more information before I decide whether or not to hate this person.

I was hoping it was something complicated or respectable and he chose georgia tech for advancing that, but sounds like home ec.

My hate meter is turning against him.

Only 2 schools I told my kids I wouldn’t pay for were Tech and Florida.

With that said, I like that a UGA Grad is breaking stereotypes and getting into Tech.

I was under the impression that GT got shitty players because their academic standards were too high. But here they are, taking a home economics major from UGA.

This is a sea change.

Tech fans are the only ones who actually believe that.

I corrected it for you.

Tech fans are extinct or close to it.
There are only tech grads, now.

Nice good info, thanks for that. I'll be pulling for Dom. What's the buzz on the offense with Buster? Feeling good about that hire?

Really happy with the hire so far from everything I'm hearing. I think we'll have decent QB competition all through fall camp with King and Pyron (I think Pyron will end up QB1). I don't know how much truth there was to it, but there were a lot of whispers about BVG possibly transferring to GT with Dom/Buster but in the end he decided to stay put. I liked what I saw in the spring game and while it was pretty vanilla on the defensive side, I did like some of the play designs from Buster getting the ball out quickly and getting it to playmakers in space.
