Crazy come back. Listening to it on 750 outside sons Dojo lol
Down 20 with like 6.5mins to go in the half and not hitting shite and they had all the momentum
Also, cause our defense was so shite and Vandys was at the end, that has to be a record for the least amount of fouls called in a half in SEC history

Refs making up for it in second half. Vandy getting calls where our guys aren't touching anyone. Terrible officiating.

After the coach's review where we got the ball back but definitely fouled the shite out of the Vandy player, the refs made like 10 different makeup calls lol.

Dawgs lead USCe 48-35 at the half. Should be up by a lot more but FT’s have kept USCe (sort of) in it. Need to come out in end this early in 2nd half.

Ten 3-pointers in a half damn well might be the program record.

The Dawgs are 20-9

I remember one of those early Felton teams had something like 20 dunks in thw whole season. We had at least 8 dunks today.
Great win. The fans in the old money seats behind the bench still piss me off, however. Most of them didn't even stand after Wilkins' windmill dunk. It doesn't have to be this way. The old frickers in the rich seats at Auburn games get loud and make a difference.

Watching UF and Arkansas now and it’s crazy to think we beat Arkansas by 14. Just shows that when UGA can make their 3’s and rebound decent, we can beat anyone.

Uh, no. Arkansas game was at home and they were in foul trouble all game. They also shot poorly from behind the arc. Playing on the road is tough….thats why Arkansas is getting slaughtered.
I agree this team can certainly beat some decent teams if we have a really good shooting night and get some boards…but to say we can beat anyone is just beyond ridiculous.
Be happy with where we are at right now. Making the tourney 2 years in a row. Unfortunately, we don’t have a single recruit signed or committed for next year, so going to have a lot of work to do in the portal again.
Hopefully we can win a game in the first round of the NCAA and just not get embarrassed by a 1 or 2 seed in round 2.

Last year as the 9 we had the shite fortune of playing "8" seed Few-coached gonzaga who was ranked as high as #3 in america during the season adn won their confernece. It was a horrnendous draw.
At present we're projected to be a 9 seed again but obviously lots will change. Go 1-1 to end the year, get one (maybe 2?) in the SECT and I think we can expect higher. We lost so mega talent form last year but this year's team seems to play better overall as a complete team, IMO. Our strategy this year isn't just "let Silas do something, or just give it to Asa". Gonzaga was obviously much better than us so we were fricked from the start, so I'm hoping this year we get a more even matchup. As of RIGHT NOW (which again, will change a thousand times) the bracketology has us as a 9 facing 8Miami in Michigan's bracket. If we're an 8/9 I don't suppose there is any real comfort in winning 2 because Duke and Michigan would whip us; I haven't watched any uconn or arizona this year so Idk about them but I'm guessing they're a #1 seed for a reason. If we could make our way up to a 7 seed that'd be glorious.

I hear ya. But in reality, we are not beating any of the 1 or 2 seeds in this years field with our talent, even on our best day…unless something absolutely crazy happens and the opponent gets in crazy foul trouble or goes cold as ice.
Right now, we are sitting around a 9 seed. We could theoretically be anywhere from a 7 to 10 depending on how we finish the last 2 and SEC tournament. Anyway it ends up, we aren’t taking down a 1 or 2 seed. Again, this was my expectation from the beginning of the season. We had an absolutely insane easy schedule and just needed to take care of business to get in the tournament and we did that.
Now, we just need to put together a couple more consistent years of tournament teams and start throwing money at the bball program and the future could be bright

Teams with lesser overall talent, but good team dynamics have made runs in the tourney, thats why it is fun to watch.

I understand March madness and Cinderella stories. I also watch a lot of basketball, not just UGA games. I’ll tell you right now, we would be a 15 point underdog to Florida on a neutral court if we played them. You see what they did last night to an Arkansas team that has been playing better as of late? Just think, that Florida team is going to be a 2seed…don’t even get me started on Duke, Michigan, Arizona or UConn would do to this team.
Look, I’m as big of a Dawg fan as anyone and I follow all the big sports at UGA, including golf and tennis. I’m just trying to be realistic, the same I’ve been this entire thread from the beginning…especially when the SEC play was just starting and everyone on here thinking because we got ranked we were something we were not.
Could we pull an upset on one of the top 8? Sure. On the craziest of days, which, can happen - look at 2008 SEC Tournament run. Is it likely, not with this group of kids. Do I hope it happens and wi I be rooting like hell, absolutely. But this team is what it is at this point.

The 1 seeds win most of the time. 8 is the lowest seed to win the tournament. Yet, we watch it.

Big game tonight. Not feeling too good about it but you never know. Go Dawgs!

Yeah I don't have high hopes for this one and we're almost surely going to lose but honestly it doesn't really matter since this game has been penciled in as a loss since before the season even started. It doesn't really change our trajectory any. Saturday's game is massive though because I fully believe that if we win that one we are solidly in the dance.

Alabama is looking lethal right now. Hopefully they'll have an emotional letdown after the Tennessee game. Wilkerson will need to go full 2019 James Harden and we will need to shoot at least 40 percent from 3 as a team to win. Or maybe Stagg will have his breakout game. It's bound to happen at some point. Stagg's coming!

Ironically, this is one where we can actually show our abilities and shine headed into tournament play.
We match up well against Bama and with home court, should win this if we have any chance of disrupting tournament play
Also, we win tonight and Sat at Miss St, then win a few in SEC play, could hopefully get us to a 6 seed which would be very favorable
If you don’t like our chances tonight, your expectations have been set for 1 and done again in the NCAAT
