I think you are the only one who thinks people on here don’t understand how the NCAA tournament works. No one ever says at the beginning of the season that their goal for UGA basketball is a Natty or final 4. It is the NCAA tournament. UGA basketball history’s good seasons were the ones that they made it to the tourney with a possible exception. One of their all time best seasons was when they were an 8 seed and beat #1 and were a miracle shot from an NBA player away from going to the final 4. Some teams get hot and beat teams they have no business beating. Not very often, but often enough that one of their primary themes of the tournament is the Cinderella story of the year.

I would be thrilled just to witness us win a game in the tournament. I’m looking for consistent improvement each year and it’s clear AF we’re headed in the right direction. Win or lose tonight, this is a better product. You’re right, if we get hit from 3 or some strange shite, anything can happen. Confidence is a helluva drug.

Besides the stupid arse technical difficulties, this is one of the best games I have ever seen UGA play. Been a while… maybe since 02 have we been capable. Unreal.

Well shite, that was fun. Even some of the old frickers in the old money seats stood up occasionally. It's not just that we're winning, it's also that we lead the nation in dunk and average 90 points per game.

Lead pretty much from start to finish. There was a moment in the beginning where both teams were cold and feeling one another out. As soon as Catchings went off, it was over. Catchings has true potential and hope he gets good advice and comes back for another year.

Defense was so much more active tonight. We'd been playing lazy defense in the last week or two. Wilkinson had the same number of turnovers as he did field goals, Bama hit 16 threes, and we STILL won by 10!
