Hankton needs to go for sure. Coley should probably go but I'd be fine with demoting him to WR coach because he's a very good recruiter. I'm not overly concerned with Coley. The main thing I hope Kirby does is hire a passing game coordinator like LSU did.

Neither one. Dan Lanning isn't going anywhere nor should he. Although with Kirby as head coach, I don't worry about the defense.

There is talk among some at DawgPost and among Arkansas sites that Tray Scott might go join Pittman at Arkansas. Scott is from Arkansas.

I think Scott has done a good job, but if he leaves I would like to nominate Bo Davis or Lupoi to replace him. Although Davis did have an NCAA issue. Surely he can learn from that.

Hankton

Brought in Pickens, Blaylock, Rosemy, Burton, & Arian Smith.

I'm fine giving him a chance to continue to recruit like that and develop his guys.

I dont blame hankton for Kearis Jackson's injuries, Tommy Bush, Holloman, Webb at nickel, Blount, Landers, and Tyler Simmons.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't the main recruiter for any of these guys.

Are you implying that they are too stupid to know who their position coach is?

Implying that they havent spoken with their position coach?

Denying that Kirby recruits players in teams (multiple coaches equals multiple points of contact on kids and the term "primary recruiter" is not a meaningful designation).

Or just acknowledging that Hankton is one of about 4 Bulldawgs heavily involved in each recruitment? But that Hankton was heavily involved with each one as part of Kirbys all-hands-on-deck approach to recruiting.

I'm implying that he wasn't their main recruiter and doesn't deserve the credit that you were giving him. Good grief man, don't be so defensive.

I can agree to disagree. Recruiting at UGA is just different now. Primary doesnt mean as much when you recruit nationally. It isnt 1 guy bringing a recruit in anymore. It is about 4 guys bringing in the whole family.

Never said it wasn't different. However, they still have their primary recruiters and he wasn't it on any of the three you listed.

Pittman is after someone else.

Pretty sure we're getting a QB coach, which is obviously much needed.

That was the fourth option.

That's what I was thinking. Now we are in agreement. He wasnt the primary recruiter. But that doesnt mean that he wasnt heavily involved in the recruitment (along with about 3 other coaches/assistants). That wasnt a hard exercise for consensus.

Would guess a younger guy with NFL experience. Possibly someone staff met with after SECCG while on their recruiting trip.

Get rid of Hankton, demote Coley to receivers coach and Co-coordinator to go along with the new Dan Enos hire

If I had to guess, yes. Luke met with certain staff members out there as well. If I recall, it was Kirby, Dell, Coley and Hartley that left out that Sunday after the LSU beatdown.

Wondered what happened to the citationX that diverted from Fort Collins to Vegas and on to Vannuys.

That could be interesting.

Just caught the dawgnation videos from the underarmor game. Sounds like Hankton is one of the main recruiters for Lindberg and Van Pran.

No. I dont think he is considered their primary. But when asked about what they like about Georgia or what is strongest about Georgia's recruitment, Hankton's name was volunteered by both recruits. On a side note: Lindberg also mentioned Mike Cavan as well. Lindberg and his mom had a great dinner with the Cavans. Recruiting is 24/7, 365, and you better throw a ton of people out there to win over the family.
