Well, he's on probation for it.
The reason he didn't go to trial with the "She now says I didn't do it" defense is because his lawyer didn't want the jury to see the body cam videos, the pictures from the medical exam, and hear the testimony of the medical professionals who treated her.

There is no such charge of "disturbing the peace" in Georgia criminal law.
He plead to disorderly conduct under the first offender statute as part of a negotiated deal. If it had gone to a jury, he would have been convicted of everything. That's why his lawyer advised him to take the deal.
