Florida has some really good receivers (#6 Dallas can wreck a game) and a quarterback who can get hot.
Gunner Stockton better not have an off day or else it will be like the Ole Miss game and Tennessee game, I guess.

-7.5 to a team that just lost head coach. How y’all feeling about that line?
I thought it was kind of low, but FU has nothing to lose. If we can get up early they'll give up. If it's close at halftime it'll be a four quarter game.

Weird shite can happen down there,
much like the "omg jordan hare voodoo!!!!", this is mostly just make believe by fans and in general the better team typically wins.
Sure, there have been times when the better team has lost. Upsets happen in football all the time. In most of the 21st century but ESPECIALLY in the kirby era, pretty much the better team has won each time.
We are better than florida. We have better players and are better coached. It may not be pretty, but I would expect us to win.

Shove up your arse. We did anything but blow Auburn out.

what exactly does this have to do with ANYTHING? Was the mysterious and infamous jordan hare voodoo present as we held AU scoreless over the last 43 minutes of the game?

Bet you didn't think that in the first half......

Last week I rewatched last year's UF game. Beck had 3 interceptions, two of which were egregiously bad.
-Our D was lights out early holding UF (with lagway) to 9 plays and 21 total yards. We led 3-0 at the end of 1.
-Early in the 2Q beck tries to pull a superman throw down the sideline that never should have been thrown. One play later UF throws a bomb and is now up 7-3 despite being outplayed all game.
-Very next drive we get 3 plays into it before Beck throws another pick, seemingly directly to UF since we had nobody in the area. UF went on a 10 play drive ending in a FG and a 7 point lead. All 10 of their points were given to them by beck.
-Teams would trade punts and FGs the rest of the half
-UF gets the ball first and goes 3 and out. We get the ball and again on the 3rd play of the drive we throw another pick. This was the "least bad" of the 3 since beck was being hit and it kinda popped in the air before being caught, but still. The D held thankfully.
We would eventually do enough to go ahead and win, but we won in spite of becks' turnovers. Something tells me gunner isn't going to hand UF 3 extra possessesions this game.

I have never once ever bought into the supernatural mystique of JHS, at any time.

Getting your hopes up, iw would love to see a thumping, but there is nothing this season that points to anything other than a sloppy slug fest.

You didn't mention that Lagway got hurt. I think that was in the 2nd quarter. The momentum seemed to change after Lagway left the game. I'll have to g back and watch the highlights. That was a pretty whack game I recall.

hmmm. In what part of me saying:

led you to believe I think we'll whoop their arse?
I also, like you, think it will be like pretty much every other SEC game this year we've played, minus Kentucky. Ugly and not settled til the 4th quarter. But I fully expect us to win.

We agree on that.... Just pointing out I don't think it will be as easy as some think, but certainly would love a 60-0 thumping.

There is no voodoo against GA at JHS
That is a Bama problem, not ours and never has been. In all my years watching that game, the 2013 last play hail mary by Nick Marshall is the only play that has "voodoo" attached to it.
In 2017, we gave that game away with turnovers and poor defense, nothing magical occurred. Auburn was a great team that year.

Lagway was definitely ripping us a new one before he got hurt.
