Am I just biased because he's white and also because he doesn't look like a real outside linebacker, or is Chaz Chambliss pretty useless as a pass rusher?

How we went from Jermaine Johnson and Adam Anderson and Nolan Smith to Chaz Chambliss is sort of concerning. Our pass rush at outside linebacker may or may not end up holding us back from where we want to go this year.

All that tells me is that all the young guys behidn him must REALLY be lost in the playbook.

Him, david daniel, dan jackson, etc are all such incredible downgrades from the starters and it's hurting us.

Would have saw Marvin Jones more but he was banged up.

Chaz ain't it though. He got mauled by their freshman tackle a few times

Chaz is a great back up piece but not what you want as a starter. With where we are as a program we shouldn’t be having a lot of “try hards” starting.

This is the one that concerns me. He looked completely lost all year long so far, and when he was in games last season he looked lost.

Chambliss does not concern me as much. We started very slowly last year in sacking the QB. As the season goes along the sacks and pressure will come.

I think he's like Dan Jackson: tough, consistent, and reliable. Probably better than most give him credit for, too.

Alabama has the three blind mice at qb. Sometimes it’s not perfect. Georgia went 40 years without a natty because it’s so hard to be perfect…three years in a row is a lot to ask of a team to have all the right guys at every position.

I’ve been saying this since he was in high school. He never stood out in games like you would expect from someone who was committed to UGA.

They ask a lot of that position. Has to set the edge, take on pulling guards. Cover TEs or backs. He was our #4 tackler for the game this weekend and had a money play against a TE on a play action off the line and broke up a 3rd down pass play. I think yall are just racist.

Watching him take on the trap, shed the block and gobble up Ray Davis for a 3-yard loss was fricking incredible

Racist would be "Chambliss is like a coach on the field. Always in the right place at the right time. Super reliable. The kind of kid you'd want your daughter to date."

Ya he had at least one tackle for loss. He is in a spot where he will stand out more if he makes a mistake. He isn’t a first round draft talent, but he is pretty damn good.

CJ Stroud scores if he doesn't trip him up on that last big run of the Peach Bowl.

True. That doesn't make him a better safety than Bullard though. He's also been burned quite a bit early this season.

I'm not faulting the guy personally since I know he's doing the best he can. I was jsut pointing out that there's a big dropoff from the missing starter to the next guy.

I agree. One play doesn't make a career. That play is the only thing I remember about him. That and confusing him for DJ Daniel that played a couple years back.
