Ugastreaker nailed it.we got outcoached.cheney was running the same play calls when the game was a 2 td game as when it was a field goal game. Running first down with 8 in box down 16 point's. Are you serious? If the defense is whipping your butt on the line of scrimmage get some quick slants and wr screens going.cheney had a nice play call adjustment when hardman went in motion pre snap and gained 8 yards outside the box.then he reverted to the same up the gut run when auburn was obviously stuffing it. lets face it guys, cheney will never outcoach anyone good.just not a gameday type coach.

Great answers guy's.I could not agree more, just frustrating as a MoFo to watch the same patterns of one Jim Chaney. I know and realize the blame should go around to everyone, but Chaney can change his shite,he just never does...

No Cheney has been the shite needing changing. There should be no reason CKS can’t get a top shelf OC to come in and make a name for them self with this offense. My God, our roster is an OC’s wet dream....we have 2-5* QBs, with another arriving next year, 5-4/5* rbs, with the top 2 RBs in the country coming, a 5* TE we don’t even acknolnledge, and guys that stand around the hashes....that seem to enjoy catching the fricking ball. All we have is run....run....both inside the fricking guards, and pass on 3rd and 10+ with a tight set so we can make sure we have a loaded box. Our coached got their asses whipped and should be ashamed. frick CKS if he didn’t whip CJC arse after the game.

ETA: frick CMT if he didn’t whip CJC’s fat arse too. If that was my defense and my job, somebody would need to bail me out of jail or write a Jeremy Pruitt story. I hope tomorrow coaches are held accountable.

I remember Fromm throwing a couple of great screen passes early in the season but not lately.

Auburn ran some good plays and executed well. We might get them again in Atlanta which would be interesting.

Just seemed to me like Chaney had turned a corner with creativity (if you want to call it that) earlier in the year.

Yet, the play calling tonight was so vanilla it’s almost like there was no plan b.

There was more creativity and misdirection plays against Florida and Mississippi State.

Tonight just felt like he refused to adapt or adjust.

Oh well, we still have a lot to play for so let’s get back on track and finish this shite.

At some point though there needs to be a serious discussion about this amongst the coaches and those in charge of the decision making because I’ll be damned if I’m going to keep watching us waste talent other schools only dreamed they could have.

Not really. Chubb got to Fromm too quickly for his hand off, so he was quickly on the OLine and had to turn and lateral the ball back to Fromm before Fromm was deep enough, It was wide open, Fromm was just too shallow so the DLine was on him before he had a chance to throw the ball.

Adrenaline crushed us last night.

It is hard to call good plays when your line gets blown the frick back. Auburn is winning both lines of scrimmage and that’s what’s happening.

This. We got owned in the trenches on both sides of the ball. End of story. We had 47 total rushing yards. Our defense played pretty tough in the first half but when the offense couldn't move the ball, the defense was worn down in the 2nd half. Bottom line: they just wanted the game more the we did. They got fired up in their stadium and were tired being owned by Georgia in recent years.

yeah it sure helps when your oc calls for a flea flicker, one of the slowest developing plays in football .Just give the front seven even more time to penetrate your already defenseless offensive line .dude had an awful gameplan vs auburn. He thought he was going to impose his will on auburns front 7 like he's done to everyone elses front 7.mind you auburn was sporting one of the best defensive lines in the country. Cheney will never outscheme anyone . Offense is vanilla. Watch alabama yesterday when miss state was whipping them. They adjusted offensively. Screens, screens, more screens.
