What did he do against South Carolina?

And pretty sure he just had 1 drop last game.

After the Kent St game he isn’t allowed even 1 drop this season

That seems dramatic

Imagine if every player who messed up in a game was no longer trusted, especially one who had consistently been good for us up until that point.

The problem is stetson has gotten too strong. Throws the ball too hard and they can’t hang on to it.
I’ll hang up and listen off the air.

Third down drop beyond the sticks is basically a turnover.

I agree. And Dom stepped up this weekend which was awesome to see. I think we’ll see more Arian going forward too which opens up the defense from a speed perspective. I just think it’s dumb to bail on Ladd after 1 bad game, and a game where he had one bad drop.

This isn’t like when we were calling for Matt Landers to get off the field. Ladd has done some great things for us.

Didn't he have drops in the last game, too?

Agree, be nice to get the depth back. I think ladd comes around, just in a slump.

He had a bad game against Kent State, and a bad drop against Mizzou.

It’s just mental right now. He’s such a good player we need to get his mind right. I don’t think bailing on him is the way to do that.

I guess it’s a good think Kirby has a long leash right?

QB is top 20 in nation in completions and completion %.

That said, we haven’t actually had our best receiver in some time.

Drops just don’t stop. It’s about timing, coverage, routes, defense, scheme, and so much more.

What we really need is our best (or second best) receiver back to take some coverage away from Bowers.

Guess it’s a good thing Kirby’s leash is the one that matters.
