I know exactly what you're referencing but that doesnt apply here. In the single digit square miles and ~50k residents there's probably 15% or less blacks. Not to mention it's a pretty affluent area so the minority residents typically aren't ghetto trash.

There has to be another angle. Rig works near a less than terrific area so maybe he's had some bad run ins. But that's more a reflection on the locale of his office though than the city itself.
