If I’m Bobo sitting on our QB room in a big game I’m sending two QBs to the huddle (Puglisi and Gunner). Gunner is a willing runner and a special athlete, therefore there’s a lot of confusion introduced to the defense and multiple plays could be effective while also giving game experience to my likely next starter.
Bobo is incapable of creativity even with an embarrassment of riches. He just ain’t the dude.
ETA: I would not be asking Gunner to become Drew Brees because the likelihood of that happening is almost zero.

But yeah, in the redzone in a game that matters I’m sending two QBs to the huddle and I’m no OC getting paid Bobo money.

A good coordinator doesn’t always make a good head coach. Just look at Muschamp.
If Mike sucks as bad as you think he does, please explain to me why a sitting NFL Offensive Coordinator would allow his son to commit to play quarterback for said sucky offensive coordinator. I’ll await your detailed answer with bated breath.

People like this make me appreciate Bobo, and I’m not the biggest fan of him.
