It's hard to say how the kids will react. If we do well and make the playoffs they might all decide to come back thinking we can win it all in 2023.

I'm not an Oline guru by any stretch, but when a group that has been playing well suddenly begins to struggle it can be for several reasons.

1) They did not prepare properly
2. They took the opponent lightly (tying in to #1)
3. The Oline coaches blocking schemes against that team were poorly drawn up
4. The opponent just had a great scheme/plan against our blocking schemes

It's really hard to put a finger on one area. The coaches would have a pretty good idea after seeing the film....if they spent any time digging through it that thoroughly. I know they looked at the film and broke it down to an extent, but how much detail they put into it is just a guess. They have to get started preparing for the next opponent pretty quickly. I would imagine they broke it down then turned it over to GA's to dig deeper into.
