Well, with Wily now committing, that guy from cali, and that 5* wr, he just may come back. His draft stock has tanked.

Dude burned every bridge from Athens to Lincoln with how he left.

He ain't coming back.

Who? CJ Wily? That Stappord (SPELLING) kid from cali? My mistake, that 4* Taylor kid.

We would be damn lucky to have an experienced QB back for what? His 5th year? We’ve seen great Beck and this year we’re seeing….not so great Beck…but I think that’s largely due to him trying to push too much. We know he has the skills.

That said, I don’t know what that would do to our QB room and frankly, if I’m CB I’m taking the 1st or 2nd round money…maybe with a decent team…and getting NFL money to work on my game. I don’t know that he gets much more out of another year.

Also, there’s a part of me that wants one of these young guys to take the helm. We’ll have to suffer through it but that makes it exciting.

Yah, it may disrupt our QB room. I think we are in pretty good position next year w/ Gunner, Puglisi, and Rashada can do. If he comes back 2026 could look like 2020 where we had issues finding a starting QB.

Ideal scenario: Beck comes back next season and Kirby does his homework and research and hire a top-notch quarterback guru/whisperer to work with Beck, even if he's just an analyst like Van Gorder's kid and not a position coach.

I thought those guys were supposed to be Coley and Bobo. Bobo got credit for Stafford and Murray. Kirby must think Coley adds some value bringing him back after a mediocre stint as OC. I just don't see any way this happens unless Kirby decides to let Bobo and Coley go. If we fall and lose 1 or 2 more games in the regular season, I would expect Kirby will have some pressure from boosters to make a change, but I don't think he does. I don't know if he has fired any of his coaches yet. I fully expect Bobo and Coley back next year. Let's see how they do with QB's they have for the most part coached all the way through.
