We have a good team. Blue, Silas, etc didn’t play well. That won’t happen very often. Need to fix the defense, but offensively, we could be really good.

Tennessee Tech was a good team. We have a ton of ballers on our team. High ceiling if they gel.

You can tell the entire game was sluggish… from the court… to every phase. We could never get in rhythm. It does look like we didn’t/maybe expect their guards to be that good. Maybe we underprepared or underestimated them to a certain degree. Good wake up game. Going forward… Lefew, Newell, Godfrey and Demary. Good luck with that shite. Blue will find his shot too but his defense is still pathetic. Future looks bright!

I only got to watch the second half. Man Newell is fun to watch! If he can develop an outside shot he could be a lottery pick. Godfrey seemed like an afterhtought pickup but I love his game, you need those glue guys that aren't going to fill a stat sheet but give you a lot of little things done properly.
Not sure what to make about demery. It's the first game with a whole new roster so definitely not worried yet. Porbably just an off night. But man if he is way off and blue isn't hitting 3s that's definitely gonna kill us when we hit conference play. on the flip side Leffew looked great and even though TL didn't shoot well he looks like a solid addition as well.
Earlier yesterday I said all I really wanted was to dominate and win hadnily like we should and we pretty much did the exact opposite, but somehow I'm not really discouraged. I think when you look at the guys we expected to be big time mainstays for us like Silas and Blue that had piss poor games, in addition to their guys going off and shooting lights out from deep...hey it happens. If this story repeats itself thorughout the OOC I'll be big worried but it's hard to take too much from game 1. And again with the portal it's gonna take time for these guys to learn to play together.

I agree. I won't. We're clearly more athletic than we've ever been. We have size down low. We definitely need to clean up the perimeter defense and get better on back door cuts. All of the issues we saw last night really requires energy and there wasn't much of it. You have these kinds of games and most of the time, UGA loses. It's encouraging we still got the W playing so poorly. I expect a better performance in game 2. If it becomes a trend, then I will start to panic.

I liked what I saw. They have some talent, a little depth, they seem to like each other and want to play hard for the coaches.

Playing a little sloppy in the 2nd but still maintaining a pretty sizable lead 68-51 with 12:00 to go.

Pretty solid performance tonight. Still a lot to clean up. Once this team gels, they’re gonna be pretty good. Once again, didn’t really shoot well and we’re leading 89-62 with 2:00 to go.

Big game tonight against North Florida. They have already beat Tech and SC. Should be a good test to see where we are.

Dang, N. Florida must be good because GT and South Carolina using have pretty good basketball teams.

Games like this usually aren't televised but if you have yttv you can watch them via secn+. Either through ESPN app or the watch ESPN link online
