CBS and ESPN both have us as 7 seeds which is the highest I’ve ever seen us projected.
Funny enough CBS would has us playing against New Mexico in the first round and likely a rematch with Marquette in the second a potential rematch with Kentucky in the Sweet 16.

Ole Miss beats #4 Bama on the Road and Marquette bear DePaul on the road tonight. Kentucky taking care of business so far vs #11 Texas A&M. Our 2 losses and Kentucky win are looking really good right now.

Am I crazy for kinda wanting UF to have won?
The way I look at it is that there's a handful fo teams that will likely be towards the bottom of the final standings. Those are the teams we'll be fighting for better SECT seeding, and more importantly for making the NCAAT. It looks like missouri, lsu, vandy, and SC are going to fit that bill. With that in mind I would think we'd want those 4 teams to lose as much as possible.
Teams like UF/UK/AU/UT....yeah it's nice to see them lose for very obvious reasons. But those 4 teams are 100000% making the tourney and all 4 of them are very, very likely to be high seeds. One extra loss on the schedule doesn't really move the needle in regards to their fate.

I think we can beat Tennessee. Florida just destroyed them. Then only beat 11-5 Texas by 4 shooting 44% and out rebounding them by 14. Defense and rebounding will be crucial.

Our defense is definitely a weapon along with offensive boards. We gotta learn to limit the turnovers and missed shots when playing away from Stegeman
